Poem: Son, It’s Your Mom

Hello Son, It’s mom I hope one day you can forgive me.

Hey, little black king, don’t wear that frown,
I promise you, I’ll never let you down.
Though I’ve made some choices that weren’t so wise,
Together, you and I will reach the skies.

Don’t place the blame on others for our plight,
For in our unity, we’ll find our light.
Obstacles may come, but we’ll stand tall,
My son, together, we will conquer all.

It’s not the titles or the claims we make,
But in the victories, we’ll find our stake.
Our truth will shine in battles that we win,
With strength and courage from deep within.

So, little black king, remember this for life,
In unity and triumph, we’ll be rife.
No matter what the world may say or do,
We’ll rise above, and our dreams will come true.
