Bo Yokely’s roots run deep in North Carolina, where he was born and raised. Bo holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, providing a solid foundation for his journey into the entertainment world.

Bo Yokely's Journey

His early roles may have been small, but they were undeniably impactful. Bo’s credits include portraying a sovereign fighter pilot in “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” (2017), a chiseled lifeguard in the action-packed “Baywatch” (2017), and the charismatic Jimmy in the psychological thriller “Into The Forest” (2018). He also took on the role of Ranger Clark in “Ponysitters Club” (2019). However, it was his portrayal of the womanizing pro-basketball player, Chris, opposite Sanaa Lathan in the Netflix original film “Nappily Ever After” (2018) that marked his first significant breakthrough.

Bo’s breakout moment came when he landed the male lead as the rustic cowboy, Collin Traub, in the Harlequin romance novel-turned-film “After the Storm” (2019). From there, he continued to impress with roles such as music manager Ryan Avery in “Country Roads Christmas” (2022) and the emotionally charged IVF father, Brian Crawford, in Lifetime’s “Switched Before Birth” (2021). Bo’s versatility and talent were further showcased as he portrayed Eric Curry in Lifetime’s “Secret Lives of Housewives” (2021).

Looking ahead, Bo Yokely’s star continues to rise. He is set to make a recurring appearance as Coach Ken Nichols in Apple TV’s “Swagger” (2022) and will grace the big screen in the feature film “The Hit” (2023) as Devin Peterson. Bo’s captivating presence extends beyond film and television; he can also be seen as the Fireman Hero in Luke Combs’ music video for “The Kind Of Love We Make” (2023).

Beyond Acting
